We buy raw grain from growers or suppliers, we proccess it using our state of the art machinery, processed rice is then weighed and skillfully packaged.We then deliver it to the market.
Grain undergoes post-harvet grading, dehulling, cleaning, etc It is packaged and distributed all over the country. We are soon exporting to markets outside Uganda especially Congo and Rwanda.
Rice is carefully graded. We ensure that the quality of rice we produce conforms to international standards.GK Foods is certified by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) under Permit (06474-0180-0039)
We buys most of its grain from local village growers especially women and women groups. This enables us reach over 10,000 women and youths by creating employment through the supply chain of grain & rice.
